Position: Graphic Designer

Working as a graphic designer in a inhouse marketing department where I have the opportunity to create and maintain design portfolios, image libraries, logos and design assets for sixteen companies in the mining and hydraulic industry. I have the opportunity to work on both print, digital and web projects including corporate identity and branding, logo design, stationary, campaigns require consistent visual digital assets across emails, website refresh assets, banners, product image retouch, google ads, socials posts.

I had the opportunity to work on a variety of large annual tourism publications including the Hunter Valley and Mudgee visitors guide, Bulk Handling Review and other agriculture related clients. These publications involve uploading individual advertisements to a online portal where customers can view and upload corrections. I am capable of producing a variety of print material, tender presentations, exhibitions, web advertisements and other business related artwork.

Position: Graphic Designer in Catalogue Print Media
My daily duties included catalogue production and design solutions with the aim to produce error free artwork for all print promotional material for Officeworks BusinessDirect. I also consulted with other team members, marketing and merchandise departments to identify their graphic design needs, co-ordinate deadlines for catalogues and promotions and serve as a liaison between them and outside printers.

November 1999 to April 2002

Position: Publication/Multimedia Graphic Design
I had the opportunity to liaise directly with clients and suppliers to produce various print and digital based publications for e learning textbook publications. I also worked in the role of production manager for the EPA State of the Environment Report 2001. My daily role involved meeting government standards and tight deadlines, executing artwork, proofreading text heavy documents and preparing files for print and digital.

Position: Junior Graphic Designer – Print Media
Designing text heavy with technical drawings of product catalogues, image retouching for construction and electrical industry clients. Completing weekly deadlines for two local newspaper and packaging files to send to the printer.
